SECURITY BOLLARDS
Bollards act as a deterrent against ram raiders and protect both residential and commercial properties from unauthorized vehicle access. They are designed to withstand direct impact forces in excess of 1,800 Kg; the Bollard provides protection from extreme Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) attack to sites where aesthetics are a consideration. All bollards are supplied complete with reflective striping to maximize delineation and night time visibility and bollards are stocked in standard colors of safety yellow or white or they can be powder coated to your colors of choice. Bollards are produced from galvanized steel to prevent rust and corrosion and are available in Removable or Fixed In-Ground, Removable or Fixed Aboveground and Retractable In-Ground.
FEATURES
Bollard is an Electro-Hydraulically operated system with a 1000mm height when fully raised. The unit is comprised of a static sub-surface mounting tube and impact tube. Raised/Lowered back indication signaling can be provided to enable remote monitoring of the bollard status on a real time basis (optional).
